Here's how to find Cuil Lodge

If you are using SatNav/GPS/Google Maps to find us please be aware that, generally in the Highland areas, post codes can cover a large area. Our post code will get you close, just look out for our various roadside signs to guide you the last few hundred metres. If you do have the option please enter our Latitude and Longitude co-ordinates instead, which are:-

Latitude of 57.58596 and a Longitude of -6.36004 (minus sign at the front).

If you happen to use the 'what3words' location finding phone app, you will find our car park located at ///goal.spud.cats

If you are not using any of the above the following information should keep you on course:-

Uig is 16 miles north of Portree and will take you approximately 20 minutes to get here from there. As you arrive above Uig the road descends, you'll pass the 'Uig Hotel' on your right hand side. As you approach the bottom of the hill you will see two '30mph' speed limit signs, one either side of the road. You should also see our roadside signs on your left at this point. Immediately turn left into Cuil Road, drive along the track until you see the sign at the bottom of our driveway.

If you happen to be coming off the ferry service, or come into Uig from the northern side follow the signs for Portree. You will pass the 'Ferry Inn' on the left and 'Rankins Store/Post Office' on the right side. Just past these you will see two '40 mph' speed limit signs, one either side of the road. Immediately turn right and follow the track as described above.
